When you stay with us at our beautiful Sivananda Ashram Beacon Yoga Centre, you are invited to participate in our daily residential program. The ashram program provides education in the pathways of Integral Yoga, through practice, study and meditation.

Working as individuals in a community, a mindful, aware and generous atmosphere is cultivated to support the ongoing process of spiritual opening.

6.30-7.30am / morning meditation
monday - friday / ashram
A one hour guided meditation.
Arrive by 6.25am to begin at 6.30am.
All Welcome (by donation)
7.30-8.30am / breakfast
daily / downstairs dining room
Residents join together at the long table in the downstairs kitchen. Recite the food prayer before beginning the meal.
Enjoy time together over breakfast.
8.00am / karma yoga meeting
monday & thursday
Meet with our House Manager Chinmaya for allocation of 1 hour mindful duties, practicing detachment awareness and love in action.

Daily Hatha Yoga classes (up to 4 per weekday) are available to all residents included in the price of accommodation. Saturday there is a class at 7.00am, there are no yoga classes on Sundays. Booking your classes is essential.

Join ashram residents at the long table for a vegetarian lunch. Recite the food prayer before beginning the meal.

​From 9.00pm to 7.30am eachday, ashram residents refrain from talking or noise making. This practice encourages awareness in silence.
